Eric German Joins BMF, Enhancing Firm’s SEC Resources
CLEVELAND & AKRON, OH (September 10, 2014) – Bober Markey Fedorovich welcomes Eric D. German, CPA, MAcc, as senior manager in Assurance and Advisory Services. German brings more than eight years of financial audit and business advisory experience within both public companies and private equity-backed firms. His Big Four accounting firm background includes Securities and Exchange (SEC) financial reporting, technical accounting consultation, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, business advisory and internal control and business process improvement.
German’s addition to the firm broadens its capabilities in the SEC arena, facilitating even better service for publicly traded clients. He focuses on helping clients navigate the ever-changing complexities of US GAAP and SEC regulations. As a trusted advisor, he formulates recommendations and suggestions to streamline clients’ business processes, enabling them to remain in compliance in a cost-efficient manner. His specializations include SEC financial reporting, technical SEC/GAAP accounting and research, internal audit out-sourcing and co-sourcing, internal control evaluation, and new accounting standard implementation.
German’s client base extends over a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, construction, registered investment companies and private equity.

German is a Bowling Green State University alumnus, where he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy degrees. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). He resides in North Olmsted with his wife Kristin and son Andrew. The family is expecting the arrival of another son in November.
