Dana Mountjoy Named Partner
Dana E. Mountjoy, CPA, has been named our newest partner at BMF, effective July 1, 2022. Dana leverages her technical, analytical and relational skills in serving her clients. She applies an entrepreneurial mindset to typical financial and business issues in ways that often lead to a fresh approach to financial strategies.
Dana brings a powerful blend of consulting and relationship-building skills to her work that will prove invaluable on the partnership team.

Dana’s talent comes from leveraging the basic principles of accounting with insights and understanding of the people involved in her clients’ businesses. She is skilled at interpersonal team building and achieving consensus even toward difficult decisions and brings a total understanding of the financial as well as interpersonal sides of the decisions her clients make. Her CliftonStrengths results include empathy, harmony and communication, which have aided in maximizing her relationship-building with staff and clients.

Since joining our audit practice in 2014, Dana has demonstrated her leadership across multiple functions, including staff development, firm administration, community and philanthropy. Her technical expertise paired with her unparalleled relationship-building talents have had a significant impact both on the firm and on our continued growth. For the past six years, she has led the United Way fundraising efforts within BMF, raising more than $60,000 annually from staff-led donations and raffle programs.
Dana grew up in Pennsylvania and received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Grove City College. Now settled in Wadsworth with her family, she believes she’s found the perfect place to build her career and sees a unique opportunity to contribute. She serves as treasurer for The Blick Center and on the board of Main Street Wadsworth, an organization dedicated to the revitalization and restoration of its historic downtown.
