John Jenkins is a Tax Partner at BMF with extensive experience in business taxation, transaction advisory services, and private equity transactions. Since joining the firm in 2013 after 20 years in the “Big Four,” John has served as a trusted advisor to clients on tax planning strategies, acquisitions, and business sale transactions.
His expertise spans federal, multi-state, and international tax compliance, tax due diligence, and transaction-related tax planning for both buy-side and sell-side deals. He provides tax consulting solutions to private equity firms, middle-market companies, and strategic buyers across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, technology, real estate, and professional services.
While tax strategy is at the core of his client engagements, John recognizes that his role extends beyond tax and financial matters. He works closely with business owners and private equity firms to help align personal and business objectives throughout acquisitions and sales transactions. His experience includes leading numerous due diligence engagements and advising clients through complex transaction-related tax matters.
