Steve has spent his entire career in accounting, honing his knowledge and skillset in tax strategies, trust and estate planning, business and family office consulting, and mergers and acquisitions.

Beginning with his early days as an intern with a regional firm, Steve demonstrated his leadership in client service as well as community involvement. In 2021, he was recognized by the National Sales & Marketing Executives (NSME) Akron/Canton™ with the Achievements in Excellence Award™. This award is based on competitively selective criteria, including sales and marketing performance, professional and business recognition, professional and trade organizations, community and civic involvement and overall career achievement. He was named a partner in his firm in January 2021.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Business Administration/Accounting degree from The University of Akron. A lover of animals through and through, Steve serves as treasurer of the Paul and Jane Martin Foundation, which supports pairing dogs and people with cognitive challenges, and serves on the board of BARC, an organization that operates and maintains the Akron Dog Park. He is a strong advocate and supporter of United Way, which is a great complement to BMF’s already significant involvement.
